Moral value
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Moral values are things held to be right or wrong or desirable or undesirable. While morality is sometimes described as 'innate' in humans, the scientific view is that a capacity for morality is genetically determined in us, but the set of moral values is acquired, through example, teaching, and imprinting from parents and society. Different cultures have very different moral value systems. Moral values, along with traditions, laws, behaviour patterns, and beliefs, are the defining features of a culture.

In Evolutionary psychology, moral values are seen as part of cultural evolution. They reduce conflict within the group and make reciprocal altruism possible. They are one mechanism by which the 'Tragedy of the commons', in which selfish individuals spoil things for everyone by taking more than their fair share, might be prevented.

Moral values are enforced by peer pressure, conscience, disapproval, shunning, and only in some instances by law. They were effective in small communities before laws were formalised. They can also be sustained by the concept of 'status', a concept which has many different meanings in different societies. There is today significant disagreement over what role status plays in contemporary society and of what it actually consists.

Morality refers to the concept of human ethics which pertains to matters of good and evil —also referred to as "right or wrong", used within three contexts: individual conscience; systems of principles and judgments — sometimes called moral values —shared within a cultural, religious, secular, Humanist, or philosophical community; and codes of behavior or conduct.
Personal morality defines and distinguishes among right and wrong
intentions, motivations or actions, as these have been learned, engendered, or otherwise developed within each individual.

okay but from what i've learned from a kid i know, who is FIVE years older than me, is rather contridictating to what the dictionary has defined moral values as. so should i believe what the caring kid has so helpfully displayed through her childish, and sad to say, vulgar, yet a little slow in the mind, for me the defination of moral values?

really, i don't know who's right man, hahha someone enlighten this poor soul here.

oh man! i remembered that the definations from the dictionary is correct, as what the young child displays is just the moral values befitting of a dog.

so far i can only see two posts in which i talked about you what, including this post. so these two posts is considered to be blogging NON STOP about you? hahha. okay i can see why you failed math. if reading my posts, or any other people's posts, which talks about your flaws, mistakes, and the cold hard facts, you can always choose not to read. its all up to you; to choose to face up to your flaws and improve on them, or to just look away like a coward. there's also another childish option for you: to read, get angry, start irritating people about it, and blowing up the whole matter when it's not anyone's fault to start with. all these comments are just what people really think about you. maybe you should just wise up and perhaps, reflect on yourself? that would do everybody some good.

at least i've got some moral values to start with, and my conscience is CLEAR.
i think i've made the right decisions, but i don't mind if you want to start a debate with me on moral values (:

but before you want a challenge, please read up little kiddo.

and to clarify some things with you,
i've already come to terms with me being stripped from my position, so if you think thats my achilles heel/point of weakness, then i suggest you change your tactics ya? because that would not work on me unfortunately. i'm sorry little girl, try harder next time (:

well, at least i'm glad my papa and mama borned me, intelligent enough to realise that i've to reflect upon my mistakes constantly so as to improve myself and my level of maturity.

thanks mama kellyn and daddy stacey for giving me the brains (:
